2014 was another record year for the businesses I’m involved in which I’ll get to later in this post, but by far the most exciting part of the year came early on Jan 5th, 2014 when my wife gave birth to our twin daughters Hope and Everly. I’d like to start this year end review with personal wins and then go into the business side.
I’m back with another income update from my Amazon business in November 2014 which marks the fourth month that I’ve been selling physical products on Amazon.com. As a reminder this is just one of the businesses I own (or have a stake in) and so it only represents a small fraction of my actual income.
If you are a fan of the my podcast, then chances are you’ll enjoy the new BoostWP podcast.
The BoostWP Podcast is not a rebranding of my podcast, which I will keep releasing episodes for.
The focus of the BoostWP Podcast is more closely tied with tactics that support the plugins we create at BoostWP. Our plugins are designed to increase your WordPress powered websites traffic, leads, and sales, so I gear the episodes towards those topics.
October 2014 marks only the third full month that I’ve been selling private label physical products on Amazon.com and because of the massive interest I’ve seen through comments, questions and emails I’ve decided to start doing regular monthly income reports for this specific business.
Spoiler alert: This business is off to a very fast start. Check it out.
In this episode, I interview 3 separate entrepreneurs who are all doing thousands of dollars per month on Amazon. These guys are all members of our private Amazon selling community called AzonMasters. We interviewed them and combined their stories together into one podcast session answering some of the most common questions people have about getting started selling on Amazon.
In this interview, you’ll learn the techniques that have worked and what hasn’t for Jakub, Steven, and Bruno, along with their plans for growing their businesses in the future.Continue reading →
In this podcast episode I fly solo while answering common questions about a business I’ve been building on the side selling private label physical products on Amazon.com (my own brand). I’ve been selling on Amazon.com for less than 3 months and I’m already on track for a six figure+ business. I hit the $10k in the last 30 days mark recently and that’s from only one product.
I still have 9 and a half months to scale sales to an even greater level before the one year anniversary of my first sale on Amazon.com. I started this business because I was inspired by Podcast 17 guest Brian Leyde who in less than one year built a much much larger Amazon business. I’m completely confident that this will be a solid six figure revenue business with the potential to go even beyond that. Continue reading →
I’m back with another case study update of the product I’m selling on Amazon (read my first update here) and I’m excited to share that in the last 68 days I’ve sold $12,987.81 worth of this one product.
The best part is that I’m even on target for a $10,000+ month in October which would represent several thousand dollars per month in profit from just one product.
Even better? I’ve never been to a post office to ship my product. Amazon handles that. Shipping. Refunds. Everything.
Podcast episode number 20 is now live on iTunes. In this podcast episode I interview Matthew Paulson, who is an expert in getting visitors to his website in ways that you probably aren’t familiar with.
In this episode, we cover what websites Matthew is running, how he’s getting traffic to these websites by being a news outlet, and how you can do the same thing.
