I’d like 2014 to be the year where I share more real life case studies of what’s working for me now than I ever have before. I’m off to a bit of a slow start for the year because of the birth of our twin girls five months ago (boo yah I know), but that doesn’t mean I can’t make up for it.
I already touched on my 1KBlog case study when I first published – How to make money with survey companies, but for those that missed it I’m building a blog that generates at least $1,000 per month or more and I’ll be documenting the process here on my blog. Later this month I’ll explain why I picked this niche but for now let’s get to my results.
I’m getting a little ahead of myself though so I’d like to first show you why this plugin is so valuable using a real life example from my on going $1k+ per month blog case study – Survey Chris. Continue reading →
This is the 1 year late case study. It’s embarrassing to admit, but with all of the projects I had going on in 2013 I held off on posting this case study for a very important reason. Read on to find out what it is. For now here’s the article as I had written it in 2013:
Over the last nearly half decade I’ve been a full time business owner, I’ve been fortunate enough to continually grow my business and earn more money each and every year.
A large portion of the money I earn gets reinvested back into my business in the form of software development expenses, buying websites, running websites and developing new websites etc but some of the money is invested into my SEP IRA – in this case through Wealthfront* (which I’ll get to in a moment).
Podcast episode number 18 is now live on iTunes. In this podcast episode I interview Chris Ducker an entrepreneur and expert on using virtual assistants in your business.
In my own professional and personal life, letting go and hiring on others to work on my business has given me more free time and helped me dramatically grow my business which is precisely why you’ve gotta hear what Chris has to say in this podcast episode.
Chris also recently released his book Virtual Freedom that I highly recommend you buy if you own a business and keep trying to do everything yourself. Continue reading →
Podcast episode number 17 is now live on iTunes. In this podcast episode I interview Brian Leyde who in less than one year is pulling in over $100,000 in profit per month selling physical products on Amazon.com.
Update: March 2014 he hit over $500,000 in sales.
Brian’s success story is amazing and as he shows in this interview, the business model of selling physical products on Amazon has huge potential to scale.
If you’d like to sell physical products on Amazon and avoid all of the hassles and headaches of shipping out product, dealing with refunds etc you’ll love this episode. Continue reading →
Last month after a few years of not posting regular income reports I shared my first report along with the fact that I had made $41,370.67 in October 2013.
In November I more than doubled October’s results for a final tally of $86,401.31 profit in a single month! (boo yah)
I’d love to say this was a normal month for me and that the $41,370.67 of the previous month was uncharacteristically low, but November was actually my high mark for the entire year due in large part to a wire transfer I received for $42,000 from a website I sold.
