I’ve bought and sold websites for the past several years and I’ve always wanted an easier way to find people interested in selling their websites besides hoping for the best with a Flippa.com auction or contacting people that don’t want to be bothered by me. So I created a simple contact form to make it easier for sellers to find a serious buyer (me). I’ve got funding available (from my own pockets and others) to buy websites and I am looking for people that are interested in selling their established income generating websites. The target monthly revenue range I’m looking for is at least $1,000+ per month. There are more details and a form you can fill out if you’re interested in selling any of your websites here:

I want to sell my website but I don’t think that you’re going to be interested since the income is too low and is coming from sponsored review.
I’ll look at pretty much anything, but yes the income is the most important factor (followed by accurate reporting such as Google Analytic data / proof of income etc)
Well, I don’t want to sell my website, but I’m totally curious about the process and learning more about what websites are worth.
They are typically sold at earnings multiples based on their yearly income i.e. 1x equals 1 year’s earnings, 2x equals 2 year’s earnings etc.
Chris, you mean if the website exists 5 years, the the selling formula is 5*equals 5 years earnings? Eg., 5*$30000/year=$150000?
Right?
Hey Joanna – not sure if I understand your question completely, but if you’re looking to sell a website you own just fill out the form on that site and I’ll be able to follow up with you via email on it.
5x yearly multiple on earnings is unheard of though and only rarely happens for very huge behemoth type websites i.e. TechCrunch.com $20MM or HuffingtonPost.com $350MM Typical valuations I see are 2x and less (occasionally 3x)
Chris, you have understand question correctly. Thanks for fast answer.
well currently I do not have any sites to sell but I do have a lot of blogger and webmaster friends. I will certainly inform them about your website so that If any one is interested in selling their site than they can contact you
Sounds great thanks!
Sorry but i don’t understand why people would sell a website that is earning them $100 to $3000. I mean that would be some source of steady income to them for life right?
Just because a website is making $1,000 a month today doesn’t mean it will continue making that same amount of money. Why sell anything that you own? Because you want the money to use on something else :).
Such a brilliant idea of investing your money. It can be a very smart move especially if youve got a site that looks so promising in the future. I need to take this one into consideration.
How much time do you think a blogger must work(full time) on his project(website) before thinking in sell it?
It never depends on how much time you work. The only thing that matters if how much money the website is making. If I’m coming from a buyers perspective I wouldn’t care if you spent 50 hours a week on a website that earned only $100 a month because I’d still only offer around $1k for it.
Thanks for the reply, Chris.
I understand the situation.
I am brokering a deal for a website called http://www.macgenius.com. The minimum asking price is $80,000. The owner of the site used to work for apple and got the website when he left the company years ago. The website is 14 years old and has the keyword in the domain that can be very lucrative to anyone who knows how to monetize the site. Get back to me.

Hello Mr. Chris Guthrie,
My name is Sunil and I am from India , Iwork for a web designing company, and i looking for a person who can help us to sell our designed websites.
Please reply if you are intrested.
Looking to sell this site as circs have changed and so am unable to promote. Not sure you’d be interested tho as no earnings yet ……
Open to offers 😉
If it’s not earning any money I’m not really interested in buying and you likely won’t be able to sell anyone else either. Gotta have revenue to sell a site for the most part.
