Last night we did our webinar on buying and selling websites. I went into much more detail on a website I purchased earlier this year and have discussed on the blog – CopyCatCrafts.com. I also showed another website I purchased for $500 last year that has since earned me over $5,000 in total profit. I also had two website brokers with me who shared some examples of websites they’ve sold and helped illustrate how to value a website property for sale and get the most for your money when you sell your website. Overall I believe we shared some great lessons that you can apply to websites that you’re looking to buy or sell. Webinar replay below:
Update: Webinar replay removed… you should join Virtual Moguls when we open again sometime in 2012. Get on the notification list here.
Virtual Moguls Registration Open:
On the webinar we also opened up our classroom style course on buying and selling websites. The way we’re running this is much different than anything I’ve done before, but we wanted to provide a way to get people much more involved in the training material. So what we put together are dozens of lessons on buying and selling websites, more case studies, sample contracts and we’re doing 6 more live webinars for members only.
I’m excited to do the webinars because it will give us an opportunity to take members step by step through the process and teach you how to avoid making mistakes when you sell your website, avoid buying a bad website and how to look for opportunities to improve income easily.
Registration Closes November 15th at 10:00 PM PST
Because of the live webinars component to Virtual Moguls we’re closing registration on November 15th at 10:00 PM PST as our first webinar for members will take place on November 22nd at 5:30 PM PST (members will obviously have access to replays for any webinars they may have missed). This is a format that I’ve seen other marketers do for their courses, but rather than charge the typical outrageously high price like $500, or $1,000 that other marketers have done we’re going to open the inaugural class for only $197:
p.s. I’m very excited about the opportunity to be much more involved in teaching people this business in a more hands on fashion. This is the first time I’ve tried a format like this, but there is so much to learn about buying and selling websites and if you just rush out and try buying websites you might end up buying a bad website and that’s part of what we’ll be teaching in detail inside the course.
