Last night Spencer Haws and I hosted our webinar on how to maximize income with niche websites through proper site layout, advertising sizes and placements as well as color choices for both the website and the ads. We also officially unveiled our new project Niche Website Theme check out the replay here:
How To Increase Earnings Without Increasing Traffic:
Update: Webinar replay removed. We will be re-opening the theme for sale in late April
Sign up to get on the list for when it opens again here.
If you have any questions about the theme feel free to post in the comments below – thanks!
P.S. In a few days I’ll be making another cool announcement (not a new product or anything but just an update on one of my goals for the year) so be on the lookout for that.
Are there visual examples? The intro video flashed a couple options up there, but any kind of live demo or current sites on it to review?
Hey Brett,
You can see an example here: http://nichewebsitetheme.net/
We’re not using actual Adsense, just images for illustrative purposes but that gives you a quick demo. On the sales page there is a sales video which talks about the theme a bit more as well.
Chris
I took the plunge. We’ll see how this mess works out!
Lost me when you started talking about the paid theme.
Well, unfortunately our software developers don’t work for free – sorry.
Here’s 3 other points to consider.
A free theme may stop working in a future update of WordPress and it’s a hit and miss sort of thing whether the theme ever gets updated.
Secondly free themes are notorious for containing malicious code.
Thirdly, FREE isn’t always a sustainable business model and often there are no resources behind the “FREE” product to offer support, enhancements or fixes.
It’s a great theme, Chris, thanks to you and Spencer for developing it.
Regarding paid vs. free, the only theme that can come close to doing what NWT can do is CTR Theme and perhaps ClickBump. Both cost money as well at a similar price, but do not do as much as this theme does for niche marketers. Free themes definitely can still work well with any monetization scheme, but if you have a lot of sites in your portfolio it’s much easier to work with one theme that is customizable than having to remember different configurations for different layouts, etc.
Chris, one thing that I would like to see that just came into mind is an export settings feature. This is something that other paid themes like Thesis, Genesis, etc. all have. I would like to be able to tweak one config, export it, then import it into other websites. Apologies if I’ve missed this functionality if it was covered in the webinar.
Andre
Hey Andre,
If you purchased the theme – we have a feature suggestion area inside the members area where we’re taking all of this feedback so I believe you picked it up but if you missed that area in there feel free to send it in.
I’ll make a mental note but by the time I get back to my desk I may forget lol.
Chris
Oops, yeah I must’ve missed that. I’ll submit my request there, thanks!
Hi Chris, thanks again.
I know I posted this on Spencer’s site but I’ll go ahead and it it here as well.
1. Can you eventually have different styles for the navbar so it can look different per site? I know the color can be changed, however as it is now, it still looks like the same site to me, even with the color change.
2. Provide the option to remove the search box from the navigation bar.
3. Also to be able to place our own google search box in the navigation bar as an option.
4. Maybe the option to change the style of the social images as well. Provide a couple different option.
Those are the things that come to mind for now.
Thanks again for the theme.

1. This is something we’ve got a few people asking. Don’t see why this wouldn’t be an easy fix for us to add in. So I’d say yes that is on the 99.9% positive list
2. Also on the 99.9% positive list
3. Also on the 99.9% positive list
4. This one we shall see
Sounds like you should have been on our beta testing team lol 😀
Chris
lol… maybe for the next product you keep me in mind 😀
But glad to know these things are on the table. Will look forward to the updates.
Yah basically we’re pouring time and money into this project to try and become the absolute best theme for niche websites. I think after the 6 months we have a good start and a lot of that time was building the framework. Now we’re just combing through the 50+ feature suggestions now and picking out the most common ones etc. and going from there.
Its a great theme, Chris, thanks to you and Spencer for developing it.
Hey Chris!
I’m a bit scared to add my websites on your reply section after reading, “How I Found Every Website You Own.” Heh. I feel kinda weird about that and I don’t have adsense to make doubles of. Anyway…
Unlike the education of a module in your course, the model I’m trying to go for with just one of my niche’s on this new theme, is to display all the product images on the front page making them clickable, and possibly making that link to articles about the product with an ultimatum of a buy now button right below it. These zeros I’ve placed below should give a rudimentary visual of how the images would be displayed on the site(the zeros being the images w text under them and a buy now button),
0 0 0
0 0 0
0 0 0
I’ve already bought the Niche Website theme because I love the idea of having an arsenal of customizable WordPress themes at my disposal for only $47! But is there an easy way to set up display images!? I couldn’t do this w/ Azon theme. Heh.
Display images – you’d probably just need to build a table in an HTML editor or look for a WordPress plugin that can do that for you. i.e. WP Table Reloaded…
Hi there
I have not managed to open the presentation in any any that actually play the video!
Only getting audio which is a shame for a demo about design…
Is it just me or is there a problem with this file?
I updated with a new file type should work now.
Hi Chris,
The feature in this theme are similar to the Socrates themes by Joel Comm and Dan Nickerson which I am currently use already only difference between the theme is price, and the adsense various color edit option. Not bad for a the price to be honest.
Hi Chris,
Looks great, just picked up a copy.
I’ve wasted hours of my time updating AdSense channels for testing before. I know my time is more valuable than that, so the theme is easily worth the $47 for the time you will save using it.
On another note, I’ve heard Google doesn’t like to see a ton of blogs with the same wordpress theme all on one server.
With all the style changes that can be made to this theme, will this be an issue? OR will Google always identify it as the same theme because of the author info in the stylesheet, what do you think?
Chris,
I’m curious if you’ll ever create a wordpress theme based around Amazon and Adsense.. almost like a better looking version of CTR theme mixed with your own Amazon themed wordpress template that was given in the Niche Profit Course. It seems like it could be the best of both worlds if done correctly without it looking like a hot mess. CTR theme is good for Adsense conversions, but I think the look is terrible LOL.
I think it’s more of a wire frame theme. Just use the header space and have a quality graphic designer make one that blends into the nav bar color. It will completely change the look and feel.
Hi Chris, thanx for this. Quick question before I watch your webinar. I bought your niche affiliate training course and got your AzonTheme that came with it.
How does the product you cover here hold up against AzonTheme?
Thanx a bunch if you get to answer my question.
Niche Website Theme is more of an undertaking and the theme we’ll be focused on a lot more but I’ll also still probably be selling the Azon Theme as well.
If you develop a website with this theme, and then sell it to another individual, would they have to purchase a copy of the theme to keep it, or would you be required to remove it if they don’t purchase a copy?
The license will only work on the site that the user buys. They can’t go and install it elsewhere.
I missed this, so thanks for sharing. I like the color tips…some of them are actually counterintuitive. Just goes to show you HAVE to test things to find what really works best.
This kind of theme is definitely one of a kind and I think a lot of people would want to have this…The webinar looks very helpful…Thanks!
Chris, I have been using this theme for Adsense niche sites. I was wondering if you have any Niche Website Theme demo for Amazon Affiliate Type of sites?
I still favor your Azon theme for Amazon for now.
The reason these are great for getting traffic is because they focus on one smaller topic instead of the whole subject. This will attract a certain amount of people who are only interested in that topic. It will allow you to go more in depth and have better information because you are not overwhelmed by a bigger subject. You can pay more attention to the details of the subject.
I like the color tipssome of them are actually counterintuitive. Thanks for a great sharing to us..
Hi Chris,
Find the right color and ads position is not an easy task. With your theme it looks much easy and the price it not that high. Nice job.
Great products are delivered at very affordable level.i bought both your best seller azon wp plugin along with the amasuite. Fantastic video tutorials gives the easy learning capabilty to customers.
I got the theme, do you still have the webinar replay?
